Is the end nigh for low cost (aviation history) airlines?

With the announcement of yet another low cost air carrier hanging up their hat and calling in the receivers, can we look forward to a future of taking out a personal loan in order to be able to afford a flight to our favourite European destinations?
It seems that every month or so another airline goes out of business blaming external market forces such as high fuel prices for their demise. While this may be true in part, there are some who would say that, possibly, their business model makes them a victim of their own success. With such a large number of low cost airlines in existence all offering flights to Spain for only 1, the question we must ask, is can the market sustain all of them? - after all, there are only so many passengers to go around.
Add to this the general confusion regarding their pricing structures, which seem to be designed so that the travelling public can never understand them or even the fact that no-one will ever actually travel for 1 and it makes sense that in such a cut-throat sector that not all of the airlines will survive and only the most ruthless, absolutely no-frills (i.e. lowest operating cost), will stand victorious.
This situation is obviously good news for the airlines that remain and have slashed their costs, cut staffing numbers and generally managed to weather the storm. The passenger numbers remain the same but there are now fewer airlines to choose from and it is unfortunate that these same passengers, the travellers who have kept the airlines going and have now become used to paying (relatively) small fares to visit their holiday homes or expat friends and family abroad, now find themselves scrambling for the fewer seats available and are limited to fewer and fewer departure airports.
The thirst for cheap travel is why the low cost model has become so popular but in a world heading for economic meltdown can any responsible government justifiably allow so much money to be taken out of the country? Deter travellers by increasing travel taxes seems to be the order of the day, but realistically, does that philosophy put people off escaping the rain, high prices and general doom and gloom of their home country? More likely, they will curb spending on other items in order to still have that break in the sun, with this lower consumer spending forcing many small businesses to close their doors leading to more and more people joining the ranks of the unemployed.
With less competition, it is highly likely that, even after considering the higher travel taxes, the airlines themselves may deem the low cost model to be no longer necessary to attract customers and therefore raise their own ticket prices to increase profits.
To return to the question Is the end nigh for low cost airlines? then the answer could be, given the above mentioned scenarios, that it may not be the end of the airlines themselves, just the end of the low cost travel option that we have enjoyed and have come to rely on.

Argentinien ist eines der grten Lnder auf der Welt, man nennt es auch “das Land der sechs Kontinente”. Das Beste wre natrlich, wenn man es schaffen knnte, alle Gebiete (Kontinente) des Landes zu besuchen. In Argentinien kann man einiges tun und erleben. Von Reisen in den Tiefen des Regenwalds ber den Strnden von der Hauptstadt von Buenos Aires bis hin in dem eisigen Sden voller Gletscher, Argentinien lebt von Gegenstze und Reichtmer der Natur. Wer nach Argentinien reist sollte sich nicht fragen, was er besichtigen will, sonder ob er genug Zeit hat, um das zu besichtigen, was geplant worden ist!
Hier also eine Liste von aufregenden Orten in Argentinien, die man auf alle Flle in seiner Reise einbauen sollte.
Buenos Aires entdecken
Es gibt viel in der Hauptstadt Argentiniens zu sehen und zu erleben. Man sollte sich einen Tag nehmen und durch die Innenstadt spazieren gehen, durch den Plaza de Mayo, um die Stadt kennen zulernen und sich an den Straennamen, Orte und Gegenden bekannt zu machen. Historisch als auch Kulturell ist Buenos Aires eine Stadt mit vielen Reichtmern.
Shop SanTelmo
Man sollte auf alle Flle San Telmo in Buenos Aires besuchen, um unter vibrierenden Farben, exotische Boutiquen und Steinstraen einzukaufen. Wenn die Fe noch voller Energie sind, dann die Wanderschuhe gegen Tanzschuhe austauschen, um das vibrierende Leben des Tangos zu genieen. Oder wenn man sich gerade ausruhen will, sollte man sich an einem der besten Opernhuser der Welt genannt Teatro Doppelpunkt entspannen.
La Recoleta
Andere Pltze, die man in vollen Zgen genieen kann, sind der La Recoleta, ein berhmter Kirchhof von Argentinien, wo Aristokraten und militrische Beamte begraben werden, so wie zum Beispiel Juan Peron, mehrere Prsidenten und wohlhabende Charaktere. Dieser berhmten Kirchhof ist in der Recoleta Nachbarschaft von Buenos Aires zu finden.
Iguazu Wasserfllen
Nach dem Gedrnge und Lrm der Stadt kann man sich raus trauen zu den grneren Weiden richtung Iguazu Wasserfllen. Die Iguazu Wasserfllen
sind viel hhere und breitere Natur Wasserfllen als die Niagaraflle. Man kann eine von den vielen Touren nehmen, und ungefhr zweieinhalb Meilen Natur ins einer schnsten Weise erforschen.
Whale Watching
Wenn man sdwrts zu Valdez Halbinsel reist, kann man Wale in Natur beobachten. Mehr als zweihunderttausend Touristen kommen jedes Jahr, um die Wale zu sehen.
Pampas
Im Sden Argentiniens, kann man die Pampas besichtigen, wo die unglaublichsten und schnsten Strnde sich befinden.
Mar del Plata
Man sollte auch Mar de Plata besuchen, wo man mit den Robben schwimmen kann. Mar Del Plata ist ein See Erholungsort, wo Boden-Touren organisiert werden und ebenso Gleitschirmfliegen existiert. Und nachdem dem Sonnenuntergang kann man einige Cocktails genieen und das Nachtleben Argentiniens miterleben.
Perito Gletscher
Nach dem Strand, sollte man den Perito Gletscher erforschen. Diese Reise ist fr jedes Alter machbar. Man kann ausgiebig an dem Gletscher entlang wandern, um den Gletscher so von ganz nah zu erleben. Perito Gletscher
Liegt im Los Glaciares Nationalpark, die grten Swasser Reserve der Welt.
Ushuaia
Nach dem Gletscher, sollte man weiter nach dem Sden reisen, zum ” Ende der Welt ” um Ushuaia zu besichtigen, wo sich abzeichnender Bergstandplatz starke und majesttische Seen den Himmel widerspiegelt.
Jeder Platz in Argentinien versorgt einen anhaltenden Eindruck. Einer Reise nach Argentinien wird man nicht so leicht vergessen. Das Land das aus den Kontrasten besteht, wie man bisher nie zuvor gesehen hat. Vergessen sie fr ein Moment Mallorca, die Stadt des puren Strandes oder Las Vegas, die Stadt des Casinos . Argentinien wird ihnen viel mehr bieten!
